Sea groynes are rigid structures designed to prevent natural erosion of the beach that can occur due to a process called longshore drift.
This particular groyne is on the western side of Rhyl’s seafront. It was sunset but the clouds has prevented any decent shots. I spotted this as we were walking back and instantly knew that the lines would work best with a monochrome conversion.
